Satellite Antenna Pointing Utility

Why would you want to point an XM radio antenna? Aren't they omnidirectional?

Yes, the antenna can face any direction and receive a signal. That is why
they work while your vehicle is moving. The signal from the satellite(s) is
fixed. There are two beams coming from space that don't move. What if you
would like to install your antenna in a fixed location, such as your house?
Where is the best location to mount the antenna?

Using the Satellite Antenna Pointing Utility, you can calculate the
'look angle' for both satellites. Using this information will save a
lot of head scratching while trying to find the best location for your
antenna.

All the data required for the calculation is derived from your ZIP code.
(Longitude, Latitude and Magnetic Deviation)

To begin, please....
