announced that Lon Levin, co-founder of XM Satellite Radio and satellite
industry veteran, has joined Slacker as Senior Advisor. Mr. Levin is an
entrepreneur and executive with over 20 years of experience in new media,
satellite and wireless companies.
In addition to co-founding XM Satellite Radio, Mr. Levin played an
integral role in the formation and development of other media, satellite
and wireless companies, including Mobile Satellite Ventures, XM Canada,
Motient, Terrestar Networks and American Mobile Satellite Corporation. He
also has been a U.S. delegate to numerous International Telecommunication
Union conferences.
