I went though this thread XM repeater locations http://www.xm411.com/phpbb/viewtopic.php?t=24016 and updated the Google maps using the new repeater data. So far I have only got to around page 6, I do plan on updating all the maps everyone requested, I have also added a few others, and will try to add other requested locations as well.

Cincinnati, Ohio

Cleveland, Ohio

Akron, Ohio

Dayton, Ohio

Toledo, Ohio

Detroit, Michigan

Indianapolis, Indiana

Louisville, Kentucky, Lexington is part of the Louisville repeater network:

Seattle, Washington

Nashville Tennessee, Murfreesboro is also part of the Nashville repeater network.

Thanks both for the KML and the pics!

I'm kind of curious if the data you guys have access to is incomplete or XM removed a repeater in Cleveland (doubt the latter..). DesertRat posted this picture for me a few months ago and this repeater doesn't appear in this thread:

This is the latest data from that FCC document, so it's possible. You may have found one of the several repeaters XM has shut down or never went into operation as the original data was from 2003 or so.

XM either removed it or never installed it, there's a few like that in Columbus if you compare the maps. This is all from what XM provided the FCC on 10/2. You can view the full list here: http://wiggum.glorb.com/xmrepeaters.pdf

Ahhhh... updated repeater info! Love it! Confirms a number of the repeaters around my area that I knew existed. Smile

Looks like it, they may of never actually installed it there, but put it in the city instead. I really do not know why they would of put one out in Wood county anyway.

From looking at the raw data, it seems like NJ is part of NYC? And also either not all the repeaters are on there or the range is much larger than I thought? What kind of range (in miles) do these things have?

I'll have the maps for this area posted later tonight. But yes, everything in NY is part of the NYC repeater network. The repeaters range depends on how much power, height, and anything that may be in the way. Most of the state probably will have no repeater coverage at all.
