RE: Build Your Own XM Radio

I can say on word "DARN"!!!

That is cool , I mean I build a Roady2 boombox using the FM transmitter but this is , WOW!!! . Question though can I order the Radio or the parts to build my own online.

I like the multi interface (RCA,CAT5,etc..).

AGAIN , WOW!!! PATENT THAT DARN THING!!!

I tried to attach pictures in this post ( of my xm unit ) but XM411 won't allow me to upload more that "256KB". So I have put the pictures on my website , the site is below.

(compared to yours my XM Boombox is nothing)

Wow, how cool is this?!

I'd love to see something like this available for sale
somewhere. Specially with the speaking of channel numbers and other
info, in addition to configuring with a computer. Wow--a blind XM
fan's accessibility dream in the making.

Actually---I'd love to have one with no display: audio feedback
only. Text-to-speech too difficult? How about text-to-morse Smile

emumanxm,

Are you implying that you are the man (one of the men maybe?) behind the efi controller?

If so, I have to congratulate you on a job well done.

While I'll always prefer carburettors, but that controller kicks some serious ass, and the DIY nature of the thing makes it even better.

Probably the best speed density system i've ever used, and definitely the cheapest.

I'd be interested in your future (and current) projects. Do you have a link pointing to em?

This guy is full of shit, thats not an XM radio, that's Sirius' new portable unit, that you need to hook up to your computer to download the recorded shows onto. I cant believe you would lie about something like this buddy.

All kidding aside, you got some brains to build that thing
